Neighborhood Boards & Committees
Thanks to everyone who volunteers in the neighborhood. Your time and talents are very much appreciated! For those of you interested in becoming more involved, joining a committee is a great way to contribute and to get to know your neighbors better. Ask one of the
board members or attend a board meeting to find out more.
Architectural Review Board
The ARB is responsible for reviewing property improvement applications submitted by homeowners, verifying that they meet the requirements set forth in our Docs, and voting to allow or deny permission for the improvements.
Communications
Our Communications volunteers take the lead on getting the word out about neighborhood events and meetings. They use the website, newsletter, flyers, and word of mouth to let everyone know what is going on.
Documents Review
It has been determined that a rewrite of our HOA documents is needed. Our Documents Review volunteers have stepped up to review the comments and feedback submitted by the homeowners, organize and comment on them, and recommend to the Board whether or not the information should be forwarded to the lawyer drafting the new docs.
Grounds
Our volunteers on the Grounds committee keep us looking great! They organize neighborhood clean up days, police the common areas after storms, and help remedy any property damage in the common areas.
Hospitality
Our Hospitality volunteers help make us one of the friendliest neighborhoods in Williamsburg. Activities have included organizing neighborhood picnics, the garage sale, Christmas carolling, and welcoming new residents.
